AMB SELLS O’HARE INDUSTRIAL FACILITY TO NEP ELECTRONICS
Wood Dale, IL (September 9, 2009) – San Francisco, California-based AMB Corporation has sold a 39,248 square foot industrial warehouse facility to NEP Electronics, a distributor of electronic components. The building is located at 795 Mittel Drive in Wood Dale, Illinois, adjacent to NEP Electonics’ headquarters and was purchased for an undisclosed amount. The purchaser has been in their Wood Dale location since 1988 and required additional warehouse space.
Brian Colson, executive vice president, and Eric Fischer, senior associate, with NAI Hiffman’s Industrial Services Group, represented AMB Corporation.
“NEP Electronics found themselves in an ideal situation, with this property becoming available next door to their headquarters,” said Colson. “The buyer leased additional space in the area that was expiring and they were at capacity at their Mittel Drive building. Purchasing the 795 Mittel property allowed NEP to consolidate operations next door to their headquarters, and expand their operation.”
